Exchange Server CALs

Exchange Server CALs, or Client Access Licenses, are licenses that are required to legally use Microsoft Exchange Server software. They are user– or device–based licenses, depending on the product, that enable users to access Exchange Server features. Exchange Server CALs allow organizations to easily manage and control user access to Microsoft Exchange Server resources, ensuring that the organization has the necessary rights to use the software.
